Character Stats

  • Strength: Attack damage with weapons
  • Fortitude: Damage reduction vs. weapons
  • Spirit: Attack damage with magic
  • Mettle: Damage reduction vs. magic
  • Speed: Attack speed (number of attacks); Dodge rate
  • Skill: Accuracy; Crit rate
  • Luck: Dodge rate; Accuracy; Crit avoid

Combat Mechanics

Attack Rate

If Attack Speed (Attacker) – Attack Speed (Defender) >= 4 then Double else Single
Attack Speed: If Weapon Weight > Strength then Attack Speed = Speed – (Weapon Weight – Strength) else Attack Speed = Speed

Hit Chance

If 0:99 < Hit Rate (Attacker) – Evasion Rate (Defender) then Hit = True
Hit Rate (Attacker): Hit Rate = Weapon Finesse + Skill x 2 + Luck + Support
Evasion Rate (Defender): Evasion Rate = Speed x 2 + Luck + Support

Damage

Damage = Power (Attacker) – Resistance (Defender)
Power: Power = (Weapon Power + Triangle Bonus) x Effectiveness + [Strength or Spirit] + Support
Resistance: Resistance = [Fortitude or Mettle] + Support

Crit Chance

If 0:99 < Crit Rate (Attacker) – Crit Evasion Rate (Defender) then Crit = True
Crit Rate: Crit Rate = Weapon Crit + Skill / 2
Crit Evasion Rate: Crit Evasion Rate = Luck
Crit Damage: Crit Damage = Attack Power (Attacker) – Resistance (Defender) x 3
